解释
Sirichana is a monolinear Thai text typeface available in regular and bold weights. The English branch of the Linotype Design Studio at Cheltenham (U.K) produced the fonts for digital composition in the 1980s. The fonts were subsequently refitted for PostScript production in 1991, with particular attention being paid to kerning and the positioning of vowel signs and tonal marks to ensure optimum readability at all sizes. In 2006, the designs were revised by as OpenType fonts with dynamic mark positioning and contextual kerning. The Thai designs were fitted with harmonized Latin companions, based on custom weights of Frutiger with modified numerals. The clean, crisp lines of this modern typeface in two weights, characterized by its almost circular rings, is suitable for use in a variety of environments.
