Moneta is a Freeware Font, and may be freely used and distributed without fee. This font may not be distributed either individually or in a collection if a fee is charged.
This font is based on the lettering of early medieval and particularly Saxon hand-stamped coinage. It was specifically developed to assist medieval recreationist moneyers in visuallizing coin inscriptions. Some compromises were made to assist in modern usage.If used with a word processor such as MS Word, you may need to expand the character spacing by several points.
