Explanation
ITC Bodoni project finished in the 23rd August of 1994 is a historical version of fonts of the great italian typographer, punch-cutter and publisher Giambattista Bodoni (1740-1813) created by ITC (International Typeface Corporation). Sumner Stone managed the progect and became the author of italics of big sizes. Holly Goldsmith designed roman styles. Jim Parkinson created italics of small sizes and Prescott Fishman developed roman styles of large sizes. The typeface is differ from the modern versions based on geometrical shapes and the new version is closer to drawings which were created by the master. ITC Bodoni contains 3 groups of 4 styles each for 6, 12, and 72 points made with proportional and others changes of symbols depending on the applied font size. Cyrillic version developed for ParaType in 2000 by Dmitry Kirsanov.
