Explanation
The typeface was designed for the International Typeface Corporation in 1976 by Victor Caruso. Based on Kabel typeface of Klingspor type foundry, 1927, by Rudolf Koch. Redrawn by ITC under license from the Stempel foundry. A sans serif based on geometric shapes, Kabel is useful for display and short text settings. Cyrillic version was developed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1994 by Tagir Safayev.
