Explanation
Aachen Medium and Bold, designed by Colin Brignall and Alan Meeks in 1969 are mainly intended as a title fonts. Jim Wasco from the Monotype Design Studio expanded the existing two typefaces into a big family with a total of 18 styles, which can be used for a lot of different designing proposes. The Aachen typeface family can be categorized as a Slap Serif/Egyptian.
