The Sagrantino suite of designs could be called the Lava Lamp of fonts. Its slick, glossy, retro and futuristic. Somehow, its fresh and quirky classic at the same time. This is a design that challenges you to think outside the text box. It shines at large sizes and in vibrant colors. Think big posters, commanding headlines, massive banners and oversized packaging.Sagrantino is extraordinary in that three Monotype typeface designers, Karl Leuthold, Juan Villanueva and Carl Crossgrove, had a hand in making the design. The family is available as OpenType Pro fonts with an extended character set supporting most Central European and many Eastern European languages. Special care was also taken to ensure that the personality of the design would shine through in each of those languages. To this end, diacritical characters in the highlighted and drop shadow versions of the family were drawn with the same expressive qualities.
