Explicación
Vario is a bold brush-based design. Created by the renowned type designer and calligrapher Hermann Zapf, Vario offers superb emphasis for use in headlines and displays. It is availble in both regular and italic styles. Vario was first produced in 1982 for the Digiset typesetting system, manufactured by the German company Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Hell GmbH. In 1990, Linotype AG merged with Dr.-Ing Rudolf Hell GmbH, forming the Linotype-Hell AG (today Linotype GmbH). Since then, Linotype has been the official source of all fonts that were originally designed for the Hell Corporation. Linotype has also improved the typefaces using new technologies, including OpenType.
